Sad, But True

I recently became aware of a situation involving President-elect Barack Obama's birth certificate and it's authenticity. At first thought, I felt as if this was another attempt to ‘hate' on Barack. Although it can be a two-sided issue, and the ‘people' do deserve the truth. But, does Barack's citizenship really have a heavy bearing on how he is to run our country?
I'm not stating this to say that this is what this situation brings forth, but I want to pull forth the fact that no matter how good a person is for a job or position, there is always going to be something or someone to ‘doubt', ‘disagree' or even ‘play against' this. And even though this is coming as an opinion of myself, there is a small truth to it.
But, is this an ‘invisible' balance for life? A balance where good has to be counteracted with bad. We have a chance at hope, but that hope will be snatched because of dishonesty [pulled out/manipulated by a doubt all along]. Maybe I'm not getting the big picture, and sure would like to get some insight on it.
This is not just on Barack, but I've seen this type of situation around others. Whenever someone gets a step ahead, there is always something to shine a negative light on them, but why? Why others just cannot seem to let people be? Why shine something negative on a person to destroy their character, or bring out their flaws? Is this an attempt to ‘bring them down'? Or could it be that people just cannot take others being positive and on a positive roll?
No matter how positive something is for a majority, there is always a barricade of negative lurking in the shadows. I know, Reality Bites! And, no matter how much of a good intention you have when doing for others, it's always going to be something to ‘twist' those intentions, but what do you do when it's not true?

Hi Ronyae,I heard this before and never touched on it because we do not know for certain if it is true that he altered his birth-certificate or not. It's true that where he was born may not affect the way he runs our country, that is not the issue. If he did alter it as many are currently trying to conclude then it speaks to his character and this will affect how he runs the country. The other issue is the Law of America that you must be a US citizen to be president of the United States. That makes perfect sense.Whatever the casee, I hope the truth comes out so that everyone knows what to be watching out for in either case. He is either a liar and a deceiver and one to be leary of, or we acknowledge that some groups reached the lowest of lows in attempting to smear a person's character. Thanks for a great article.TeresaThanks Teresa,And I must admit, this is something that truly needs to be handled....and fast!
Ronyae,Your passion for the topic was expressed with as much clarity as could be expected. Unfortunately, emotions are not logical and differ with each breath, person and plight.Blessings to you,StarStar,As I stated in the comment of this writing....it's definitely opinionated. So there may be a bit of truth to what you stated, which is also opnionated. Thanks for reading and sharing!Stay Blessed
I'm reading this as an uninformed outsider, but if there is a 'problem' with his birth certificate, this sounds like it may be a legal issue. I can't imagine why it would not be looked into by the highest authorities.I am in high hope, David that it is looked into by the highest of the high(s)...I'm very interested to know the truth. Thanks for commenting and reading
Hi Ronyae.Yeah, there will always be doubters and there will always be those who are unhappy with results, whatever those results are. Also, I find that it is human nature to try to drag others down in order to feel better about yourself. I think that's half of what gossip is all about. And in the end, that may be all this is.DianneThanks Dianne,I'm in great hope that this is what it will end up as; although it's sad....it would be true! Thanks for reading and commenting
