I would like to share an entry of my blog-journal. Especially because a friend and I were speaking on this very subject, but the entry is more than 2 months old. It was lingering around as a column submission a while back and then I thought to place it as a poem on another site. So when we brought the conversation up, I finally decided to share it with my family here on the Warp. I hope you enjoy:

Knowing where they're at will help you out a bit
But you're likely to tear your car up if you swerve to still find out that you didn't miss it.
I can depend on those potholes, and notice the benefits if you hit any at all.
But when I hit potholes in the winter, those built-up clumps of snow fall out of sight.
Blog: Have you ever been driving behind someone and noticed when they hit bumps in the street, huge clumps fall from under their vehicles? See, those same potholes that we gripe about, helps us as well.
So with that being stated, does that symbolize that all things are for a reason? Call it a long stretch, and of course 'something that only I could conjure up', but those potholes may be a nusance during one season, but a help throughout another one.
Life works like that in my eyes. And this makes me aware that there is a balance in all things; for every negative, there is a positive. Do you agree?

Ronyae, I absolutely agree, for every wrong, there is a right, for every sadness is a gladness. I believe in that, and you certainly have a great outlook on life, as it should be.....and I do believe that the potholes were a bad things on one hand, but helpful on the other.....good way to put a perspective on things....thanks for sharing.....your fan and friend in pen.....GaryGary,You are definitely a friend in pen (smile). Only you could take a pothole and put a positive spin on it. I would have looked at them the opposite way, and seen how they could destroy the suspension in my car. You have amusingly let me see the glass as being half full.David,Well, my job is done here...LOL :)Have A Blessed One!
