"Thanks, Car Seat!"

I wouldn't have ever guessed that I'd find a 'Reality Bites' with my cellphone and my car seat upholstery. But, I did, and I'm here to share the good news!
It all happened when I was trying to figure out a quick way to clean the screen of my Motorola Razr. I didn't want to use my pant leg, for fear of the screen being smudged like before. Long story. But I will say that the screen came up with more smudges than before I had rubbed it down my pant leg. I had a fear that the napkins 'borrowed' from local restaurants would scratch the screen, so with no other alternatives, I looked over to the empty passenger seat.
I rubbed it on the passenger seat of my car, gently. After maybe three or four back-and-forth motions, I hesitantly lifted the cellphone in fear that I'd see a screen full of lint particles, but I was stunned to see the screen beaming back at me. "Eureka!" I had found my solution to cleaning my cellphone screen.
I got excited, and figured if rubbing my cellphone across the car seat upholstery would clean my front screen as well as it did, then it should clean my main screen and maybe even my keypad just as good. So, I flipped the Razr open and started rubbing like a madman; the inside of the phone usually gets more dirty being that we use it up to our ear [hair], using the keypad, and not to mention oil residue that comes from our bodies. Of course the rubbing didn't erase some scratches that were on the main screen, but that baby shined like new shoes! I know that's corny, but that's how excited I was to finally find something to clean my screens as well as the car seat upholstery.
Now, I'm not sharing this to persuade all of you to run out to your vehicles, rubbing cellphones on the upholstery, but I wanted to share this just to give you an idea. Of course, this goes with saying: "If you are or were as desparate as I was!" (smile)

Ronyae,I loved this! Just last weekend, I had been perspiring from gardening and my cell got loaded with sweat, makeup (which gives it a beige tint!), and probably dirt. So I wiped it on my pants and of course that only made it 'smudgier'.Since I don't have leather (and never plan to because it is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter), I will run it out to my car and clean it up right now!Thanks, girl, you do come up with some odd ones but good ones! This is cute and humourous and says something about "American Ingenuity". But I'll bet if you checked, you would find that the car seats are made from some type of microfibre. That stuff is great for any kind of cleaning and polishing.So that's the name of it, David. Thanks! And yes, that fabric does the job. Stay Blessed
