I love sharing helpful emails with my readers and supporters. That's why I'm here to share another helpful email that I received from my Mother.

This information will help you when, or if you are ever approached by someone that may be a threat to you, or is attempting to attack you. Here goes:

Good idea...If you've ever used wasp spray for wasp, you'll know that it shoots at least up to twenty feet. I have a friend who is a receptionist in a church in a high risk area who was concerned about someone coming into the office on Monday to rob them when they were counting the offering. She asked the local police department about using pepper spray and they recommended to her that she get a can of wasp spray instead. The wasp spray, they told her, can shoot up to twenty feet away and is a lot more accurate, while with the pepper spray they have to get too close to you and could overpower you.

The wasp spray temporarily blinds an attacker until they get to the hospital for an antidote. She keeps a can on her desk in the office and it doesn't attract attention from people like a can of pepper spray would. She also keeps one nearby at home for home protection.

It may be good to also sit one somewhere beside a door you're opening to a stranger, just in case you needed to grab it in a hurry.

Thought this was interesting and might be of use. Guys, tell your women.

Now, many of you may have pepper spray handy. But just in case you don't have any, and do have some handy wasp spray, you can be assured that the wasp spray will do the same as pepper spray-if not better. I pray this helps someone.

Stay Blessed.

Thanks Ronyae. I do keep a tall can around for wasp. Now I know it has other usages also. Thanks again Ronyae. You always say something with meaning.

Ronyae, in todays society I would look very closely at the ramifications of using that spray and under what circumstances? I in  no way disagree but its like any weapon, under what circumstances, what are the ramifications, death, severe injury. No I'm not a bleeding heart but sadly in my opinion this society will somehow find a way to turn it around. Best wishes.

Robert, I respect your comment.  For one, it's very true.  Sad, but true.  No matter what we have in this world for our benefit, there will be a way to use it in a negative manner as well.  But, this gives us the balance in life: for every good, there is [bad] evil.  Thanks for reading and sharing a great comment, Robert.

In Canada we have a term in law called "Reasonable Force". If it is determined that using this spray on an attacker is crossing the line, then unfortunately, the victim (the one using the spray) may be the one in trouble with the law. Just a word of caution for all your Canadian readers.
