Tyler Perry Shares Childhood Abuse Memories With Web Fans

You've often heard the phrase, "Everybody has a story ..." and it couldn't be more true in the life of producer/director Tyler Perry. According to an article posted by People dot com, Perry wrote to his fans on a personal website about his experiences with abuse as a child; Perry having been a victim of not only physical abuse from his father, but sexual abuse from the parents of his childhood friends.
Although Perry admits to fearing for his young life, he is happy to have survive the traumatic experience.
In my opinion, many children are not able to 'make it through' after experiencing something as tragic to their innocence; once the innocence has been tainted, it's gone forever. I feel for Tyler Perry's experience, and I lift prayers that his experience through the abuse will help others realize that nothing lasts forever, and there is a light beyond the tunnel.

It took me 40 years to get over my child hood abuse. I share this not as a badge but that it is possible what ever age you are to triumph over your past and discover peace in your heart. I am a man abused by a women who was a teacher and a church leader, this made it very difficult to deal with, as my friends at the time thought it was great that I could have sex with an older women. It was not. Please, if you are a victim of sexual abuse, rise above it and be FREE. Get some help and be at peace with your self.
