All of you know that I have a disclaimer, notice, and much more to state before we delve into this, right? I'm smiling with you all at this very moment, as you prepare yourself for what's going to follow a title wait, no, my title (well leave it at that).

Take a trip back down some very familiar lanes, as History has taught' us of segregation; packs being a segregated life in all creatures. How the schoolbooks' pages were filled with the many stories of families being forced out of, or taunted for being in a neighborhood where "they didn't belong", majority being racially inclined. And yes, Blacks. Sounds like a lot to be stated just to bring a simple point. But, actually it's what society has given dominance to: beating around the bush. I'm a social deviant, my name is Ranya Snowden, and I approve this message (smile). My disclaimer and/or notice is that you open more than your mind while reading this article submission into my "Writer's Block Bay" column; very opinionated. Thanks for allowing me to express myself, and share as well. Now

On average, a [black] person sees a [white] lady walking a dog during evening hours, and the first thing coming to surface would be law enforcement. You may laugh, but hey - it's what society has portrayed dominance. It's portrayed on television, radio I need not add details, right. But to give just a few contributing factor(s) details, the lady has to be law enforcement to (1) Be brave' enough to walk in the hood nearing dark (2) Be in the hood, and (3) even be in the neighborhood okay, of predominately black people. I said it, there. I know my Angels are having a thrill at this one submission, here. I smile with them as well.

Seeing nationalities other than Arabs, shopping at the local neighborhood grocer almost caused a pause action on a normal Wednesday morning. The timeframe was off; it wasn't after-school, or after-work hours. I heard one elderly lady state something about the couple wearing sportswear. It was hilarious. But, hey - people just aren't integrated enough to see nationalities other than the day-to-day people, around on a day-to-day basis. A part of me felt the two seniors were being racists in their own way, until I looked at it, mentally.

Not to take sides, or find defense for any part of our history but, I found relativity in all creatures wanting to keep what's theirs, theirs'. Not only to preserve what is theirs, keeping familiarity is the only sense of survival for some creatures. People of the past who carried out actions, rather inside or out may have done so to preserve

Just something I had a brainstorm of while sitting on the dock of my "Writer's Block Bay". Stay Blessed, and open-hearted.

Very nice. Society has a way of perpetuating stereotypes, and you put a nice touch on this. Good job.
