Proud of My Heritage: Celebrating Black History With Music

When my assignment asked for an inspirational song, I was having a problem with tagging just one song. I find encouragement in various types of music. Especially, depending on what I may need inspiration for. In example, different work projects will have me looking for different types of music as an inspirational [working] background, something sullen and heartwarming if I am working on an obituary.
But an all-time, most inspirational song for me kept resurfacing as I mentally browsed my 'inspirational' songs ... "Black Butterfly" by Deniece Williams has always been an inspirational song for my life. Period. This song not only inspires me to see failure as a stepping stone, but it makes me proud to be a part of a race of people who - as a whole - have a struggle they had to strive and live through, regardless of choice. I pause at this moment. I need to pause, and allow the respect granted to black historians and decendants, who "struggled" to live as any human was deemed to do so from birth. So, should we call living our birth-right? If so, I am wondering why history has shown that our black historians and descendants were forced to create a dream for this 'birth-right'. A dream for a right to live on earth, take in and put back all what was to be on earth and with living. The right to do any of that was fought for by a nation of people - who, in essence - had NO choice. Imagine that.
The struggle of my descendants, as well as other blacks in our history only created a more determined, dreaming spirit I am proud to continue. Life will always have positives and negatives to live through, and it varies per person. Believe me! Acknowledging the fact, I am inspired by knowing somebody else has been through something even worse ... and, became victorious. The song "Black Butterly" reminds me of the struggle, and the victory. It inspires me to take on a challenge, with faith of a victorious ending.
Recognizing, and motivating our youth to learn and acknowledge black history inspires me to be thankful for being a descendant of people who struggled, victoriously. Deniece Williams' song "Black Butterfly" inspires me to have dreams in life, and know that dreams built of righteousness will always flourish ... that gives me hope, encouragement and a winning attitude!

but in Muslim world color of skin never was an issue. The symbol of Advertizing Islam is Azan(calling people for prayer), and the First man who was in charge of Azan was named Balal. He was one of the closest friends of Holy Prophet of Islam and he was a Black man from Africa as well.
here is the link to Azan

they are all saying one thing but in different voices and styles.Thank you, Abolghasem, and for the links.
The actual battle associated with my personal descendants, along with other shades of black within our background just made a much more decided, fantasizing nature I'm very pleased to carry on. Life will invariably possess advantages and disadvantages to reside via, also it differs for each individual. Trust me! Acknowledging the very fact, I'm influenced through understanding someone else continues to be via some thing a whole lot worse ... as well as, grew to become successful.
You did an excellent paraphrase, Kiev apartments!
