Yes, It's true that Hurricane Katrina came along and destroyed more than our precious lands and homes with its high winds and powerful rainfalls a year ago. But, it was just that or could it have been more?
After the rain ceased and things settled, there were stories being told of how the storm upheaded graves, sewers, automobiles and homes of the citizens not only in the parishes of New Orleans, but neighboring areas and states as well. At a time when lives had been taken and families were split and reduced, the nation was not only trying to assist in recovery and aid, but also pointing fingers; which ultimately resulted in a stand-still or neglected rescue of a nation suffering a serious loss.
