Yes, It's true that Hurricane Katrina came along and destroyed more than our precious lands and homes with its high winds and powerful rainfalls a year ago. But, it was just that or could it have been more?

After the rain ceased and things settled, there were stories being told of how the storm upheaded graves, sewers, automobiles and homes of the citizens not only in the parishes of New Orleans, but neighboring areas and states as well. At a time when lives had been taken and families were split and reduced, the nation was not only trying to assist in recovery and aid, but also pointing fingers; which ultimately resulted in a stand-still or neglected rescue of a nation suffering a serious loss.

While fingers are being pointed and issues are emerging on who, what, why and back when, the real issue of what is going to happen to New Orleans is being neglected. After a year, the "Chocolate City" is still in a struggling nature, rather a phase that seems to be moving slowly. There have been reports and footage of the levee issue; debates on how the hurricane only hit very rural areas, mostly low income living communities...but the point is this: How does a storm know exactly where to go? Could it be simply stated by agreeing and acknowledging that it was a NATURAL disaster, works of God? With that being said, that's a 'horse of another color'.

Thanx for the agreement...We as a nation must stand together or divided we will fall!
